Welcome to the Amtrak Sponsorship/Charitable Contributions Proposal
If you would like to submit a request for sponsorship or charitable contribution to Amtrak, please create an account by going to the registration page and entering your email address. An email will be sent to you confirming your registration and instructing you to create your profile. Once you have registered for your account, log in and click “New Response” to submit a new request. You will have the ability to select whether you are submitting a sponsorship request or a charitable contributions request in the first step of the questionnaire.
Once a proposal for an event, promotion or project is submitted it will be reviewed by the Amtrak Sponsorship Division. The review period lasts approximately 4 weeks, after which time you can expect a response by either email or phone call. You can also check the status of your request by logging into your account and viewing the status from the desktop view.
Please note that you will need to submit your proposal at least 60 days prior to your event for the proposal to be considered.
Charitable Contribution Requests
The Amtrak Charitable Contributions program supports eligible organizations that further the goals of primary education including elementary schools (kindergarten through 8th grade) and groups that directly and exclusively support elementary schools in communities served by Amtrak. In addition, museums that advance the history and knowledge of railroading also are eligible to submit requests. This program does not make monetary donations, but provides support in the form of of a Charitable Contributions Rail Certificate to be applied toward passenger rail travel anywhere in the Amtrak national network.
